Already in my youth I was enthusiastic about purses and accessories made out of leather. I discovered my love for leather craftsmanship in 2017 after I thought I could try to make a purse myself. Later that year, I began training as a leather goods manufacturer and bag maker at the „Fachschule für Lederdesign“  in Vienna. At the same time, I was able to gain additional experience and expand my skills as an intern in the “Silvia Proy Lederwarenmanufaktur” from who is probably Austria’s best bag maker. In 2021 I passed the master’s examination and founded the „Chris Bauer Lederwarenmanufaktur“ in 2022.
